I am looking a very loving caring person with whom I can marry and live my life happily peaceful.

As someone who’s attended live births and C-sections….seeing some brothers say the only thing women “bring to the table” in a marriage is children sends me into a rage like nothing else does. As if it’s a flippant, non-meaningful contribution.

There’s a reason heaven lies under the feet of your mother. And there’s a Hadith that says women who die in childbirth are martyrs (grade: hasan). Maryam, the mother Isa (pbuh) is directly quoted in the Quran as wishing for death from the pains of labor. (19:23)

Go tell your mother the only thing she “brought to the table” was you. If it wasn’t haram I’d say I wish it was mandatory for every brother to watch a live birth from start to finish before they even dare ask for the hand of someone’s daughter.

May Allah swt guide us to be wise and value the contributions of our mothers, sisters, and wives to the ummah.

. Why aren't men these days serious at all? They get deeply involved in a relationship, and once they're sure the girl is deeply in love with them, they suddenly pull away, claiming they're busy—or they just disappear. Just why??
