I’m feeling discouraged. I’ve been on this app for two months, and no one has chosen me yet. I’m thinking about quitting now. I’ll give it two more weeks. If no one chooses me by then, I’ll give up.🤦♂️
Assalamu Alaikum.
I have been using this app for almost eight months now. During this time, I have gone through many profiles, and one thing I see repeatedly is statements like: "Serious inquiries only," "No time wasters," "Only contact me if you are genuinely looking for marriage," and similar messages.
Keeping that in mind, I respectfully sent chat requests to several people with sincere intentions. Unfortunately, most of them never accepted my request. Those who did usually exchanged only a few messages before they stopped replying or simply disappeared without any explanation.
What surprises me is that almost everyone emphasizes seriousness, loyalty, honesty, and respect for time in their profiles, yet these qualities are often missing in practice.
I'm not saying this to criticize or offend anyone. I simply believe that if someone is not interested, it is far more respectful and mature to say so politely rather than leaving the other person waiting or ending the conversation without any explanation.
I sincerely hope that everyone here is as serious in their actions as they are in their words. May Allah bless all sincere people with righteous spouses and make this journey easier for everyone. Ameen.

Just had a lovely conversation
so warming, understanding, attentive such calming, reassuring responses. Everything you could hope for in a convo. Until I thought wow this person's communication is on point, it's almost too good to be true. Then doubts arose when he copied and pasted one of my messages back into the chat. How thick am I?...I actually thought nothing of it at first.
As soon as I mentioned how good their conversational skills were, they faltered and reverted to their usual standards 😄
