I’ve been talking to someone and after a few conversations, he suggested having a video call to get to know each other better. I understand his point, but I’m not comfortable with it yet and would like to take some time before doing that.

He said he doesn’t mind waiting but wants to clear certain things first. I’m just wondering, from everyone’s perspective, is a video call important at the early stage of getting to know someone, or is it okay to take things slowly through texting until both people feel comfortable?

Would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

what does mature mean to u?

maturity is not defined by such things as just age. maturity it is not a matter of age, but rather of mindset, conduct, speech, problem solving, decision making, and so on.

being older does not guarantee maturity and just as being young does not necessarily implied childishness.

maturity does indeed come with time, as life's journey teaches us how to grow up.

u become mature when u embrace all of life's lessons whether they happen directly to u or unfold around u.

so, to become mature, u don't need to wait for others. instead, change ur own mindset, way of life, and so on.
