You know, I can't remember the last time I ate a meal and actually tasted it. Everything tastes like ashes. I see these terrible things, and they stay with me. I can’t sleep, I can’t enjoy life. It's like I've forgotten how to feel anything but fear and sadness. I've seen so much suffering, so much death... it's like a weight I can never put down.
