Mi comida. I cooked. I could have made tortillas but the store I went to didn't have Maseca. So hard shell tacos it is at the moment. I made Mexican American style chicken tacos with nopales or cactus. And side toppings. Just one style of indigenous American food I can make. I was just in the mood for tacos I guess.

When I get snatched up and married to a man who made the right moves towards marriage this is one dish he could have enjoyed with me. Inshallah a brother in Islam who likes indigenous food will look in my direction.
