But with every single potential I liked, I already had very in depth fantasies about our future after like a week of knowing him. So clearly everyone does not just know.

My delusional attachments used to be so bad. I have a unique name and one guy had a very similar name to me (and it was unique too) so I managed to convince myself that he was my future husband.

Then another guy looked like my dad's side of the family so I was imagining him looking good in our family photos and then convinced myself he was my future husband.
