I got to tell a client he’s going home today, he’s been detained for 7 years🥹 The gratitude him and his family showed me had me crying icl lool

It’s crazy how many vulnerable people are caught up in the system. We take our freedom for granted bc all it takes is one silly mistake. It took us 8 months, i near enough had to beg them to fund his case. All those hours of unpaid overtime were worth it, what a way to go out. ☀️
