Why some people call themselves muslims when they don't practice Islam?

Is it because they haven't fully read the Quran and not understand the minimum requirements of a muslim?

I've been hearing a lot about "cultural muslims" which make no sense to me. Why not just say they aren't religious?

So happy to know that Lebanon, Bangladesh, India, and other countries are supporting Brazil in the World Cup. Even if we don't win, all the love and positive energy was worth it. Thank you everyone. From Brazil with love 🇧🇷

"🗣️: Your standards are too high."
I've never been allowed to go on a staycation with anyone other than my family. I can't freely go out whenever I want. I've never consumed alcohol. I've never gone clubbing; I prefer a healthy lifestyle. I eat healthy. I'm loyal. I'm honest. I'm responsible. I pray five times a day. I'm educated. I have self-respect.
I still value modesty. I've never posted photos of myself wearing revealing outfits.
I earn my own money. I'm disciplined. I'm supportive. I can cook. I can take care of a home and a family. I can recite the Quran. I can design buildings. I'm good at managing finances. I can fix small household issues, including basic electrical and construction-related problems.
And most importantly, I don't fall in love easily. I don't chat with random people here and there.
So, what kind of standards am I supposed to have? Help me out—what standards do you think would be appropriate for me?

The greatest anchor for your faith is a deep understanding of Tawhid. Once it truly takes root in your heart, your faith becomes unshakable. Not even the wealth of the entire world could make you trade away your Islam.
