I think it's hilarious, because what they don't realise when they fight it, is they show more about themselves and qualities, such as intelligence, they lack and traits they possess, than it does to show what the person who brought them that reminder
If you don't wear the hijab, that's your call.
If you don't want tour wife to wear one or don't care, your call
But don't ever try and stop people bringing reminders, for whatever reason, or assumption you make
