Never thought I'll say this, but I've got one more reason today to not trust the men on this app! I'm so done with it already!
on days like this when i can't get sth to bloody open, i am reminded that i do need a man in my life
Tonight’s rain is the earth’s embrace for weary souls. Bringing warmth behind its coldness, bringing home memories that once felt strange.
Hey muzz felas, never been here before. Just wanna said to u, to myself that we are all struggling. And i think that okay to start over again in anypoint that u stand rn, have a great life n may this app only gives u a good one
Sir ..
Ladies, I need your Opinion
At around 1:50 a.m., my female neighbor, who is divorced, has no children, and lives alone, sent me the following text. I am also a divorcee, living alone with no children.
If your potential spouse sent you the same text, would you consider it a green flag ✅because it shows he can be trusted? After all, a female neighbor who lives alone felt safe enough to contact him and invite him over to help with an insect at almost 2:00 a.m.
Or
Would you consider it a red flag🚩 because your potential spouse should not have the phone number of a woman who lives alone, even if she is just a neighbor, since that could potentially lead to other things?
What does Islam say about this situation? Is it acceptable for a man and woman to be this close, and does going to her house at 2:00 a.m. cross the line?

Taking accountability for your own actions is sadly so underrated
"Google: There's something strange about me. Even when I pray, I only recite the Al-Fatihah. What do you think is wrong with my mental health right now?"
✔️✔️Reciting only Al-Fatihah is actually quite common duringSalah and usually stems from overthinking, stress, or distraction rather than an underlying mental health disorder. When the mind is overwhelmed, it often defaults to familiar, repetitive actions, making it hard to focus on or recall additional verses.
Why This Happens & What It Means
Cognitive Overload: Discussing struggles with mental health often means your working memory is occupied. A mind juggling anxiety or daily stressors struggles to shift from Al-Fatihah to other Surahs.
Waswasa (Whispers): On platforms like Reddit, users widely agree that overthinking or forgetting during prayer is a common distraction, and persistence is key.
Stress Response: Reciting Al-Fatihah is a core pillar of worship, but when stress is high, the brain finds comfort in that repetition rather than expanding into new verses.
How to Regain Focus
Preparation: Before starting, take a few deep breaths and disconnect from distractions (like your phone) to allow your mind to slow down.
Intention & Meaning: Reflect on the meanings of the verses. The recitation is meant to engage the mind and connect you with Allah.
Go Slow: Lower your pace so that you can clearly hear yourself reciting the words.
To help tailor this advice, please tell me:
Do you feel distracted or anxious during the rest of your day?
Are you forgetting other Surahs entirely, or just finding it hard to shift to them during prayer?
How long has this been happening?
