I genuinely enjoy that kind of banter once we've moved beyond the initial small-talk phase, and I love it when someone catches an obscure reference. To me, it's a fun way of showing personality and building rapport.

That said, I'm aware it can come across as childish or cringe to people who aren't into that sort of humor. For those of you who enjoy it, what makes it charming? And for those who don't, where do you draw the line?
