this app doesn't seem serious.

There are too many fake profiles, scammers, and people pretending to be someone they're not. Many don't seem interested in genuine friendship or a real relationship—they just waste people's time or play games.

Personally, I haven't heard of many people who actually met through this app and built a real, face-to-face relationship. That makes it difficult to trust what you see here.

If you're genuine, I wish you the best. But for me, this app doesn't seem like the right place anymore. I'm out.

I've spent enough time on this app to form my own opinion.

I honestly don't know whether this app is mainly for Muslims, a mix of Muslims and non-Muslims, or just anyone. What I do know is that it has become very difficult to know who is genuine.

From my experience, it feels like the vast majority of people here are either scammers, pretending to be someone they're not, or simply not serious about building a real connection. Many seem to enjoy wasting other people's time, playing games, or making fun of those who are sincerely looking for friendship, love, or marriage.

Of course, there are probably a few real and honest people here, but they seem very rare. Finding someone who is genuine, respectful, and serious feels like searching for a needle in a haystack.

If you're here with honest intentions, I sincerely hope you find what you're looking for. As for me, I don't think this app is the right place anymore.

u use historical tragedy like a daily content strategy to collect likes, build an audience, and feel morally superior. But when someone brings real facts, Islamic principles, and modern examples to the table, u delete my comments or hide them because they are actual facts and because real debate ruins ur show. all that in a muslim community app that its first objectif is to advice one another about marriage and islam. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Sounds pathetic indeed.

If u actually cared about victims of slavery and exploitation, you would talk about the people suffering today in 2026, including inside your own community, instead of using dead people’s suffering every now and then just to farm engagement online.

1. History Was Not Made by Only One Region
   Empire-building, war, and forced labor were not unique to Western countries. Long before European expansion, empires across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and East Asia conquered nearby lands and built large slave networks. Talking about European colonialism while completely ignoring centuries of slave trading by Arab, Mongol, or South Asian dynasties is not "truth", it is selective history.

2. Clear Double Standards About History and Today
   Documented History in South Asia: I want to be clear: I did not personally witness these historical crimes, but they are clearly documented by historians. ⁨@lucky-seven⁩ acts like slavery was only created by Western nations. But South Asian history is full of human trafficking and forced labor. For centuries, regional kingdoms captured and sold hundreds of thousands of people into slave markets across Asia.
   The Caste System: South Asia created one of the longest systems of discrimination in history, the caste system. For over 2,000 years, millions of lower-caste people were forced into hard labor and treated unfairly just because of their birth. This problem still exists in the region today.
   War Crimes: Local South Asian empires fought brutal wars, killed prisoners, and looted captured towns long before Europeans arrived.
   Racism and Prejudice: People like ⁨@lucky-seven⁩ talk a lot about racism in the West, but they completely ignore deep caste discrimination, colorism, and tribal hate inside South Asian and Middle Eastern communities today.
   Selective Sympathy: You would rightly disagree with anyone who uses historical crimes against Jewish people today, but you have no problem using British colonial history against modern Westerners. u cannot say collective guilt is wrong for one group, but okay for another.

3. Camera Documentation vs. The Evolution of Exploitation
   A big reason Western crimes feel much more recent and emotional is simply media: Western colonialism happened during the era of cameras, newspapers, and written records, so we can see photographs and videos of it today.
   However, we must also recognize a historical fact: as human civilization became more developed and civilized over time, the worst forms of forced labor actually decreased. The extreme brutality, mass torture, and open chattel slavery from hundreds or thousands of years ago were far worse than the modern forms of exploitation we see today.

4. Ignoring Real Exploitation Today (Goat Life)
   While people waste energy arguing about the past online, real labor abuse is happening right now in 2026. Look at undocumented South Asian workers how they are being used by their own people in the UK who are paid unfairly under constant fear of deportation, or the Kafala system in the Gulf. If you truly care about human exploitation, why ignore modern abuse just to focus on events from 120 years ago?

5. Islamic Law Rejects Ancestral Guilt
   In Islamic rules, it is forbidden to blame a person for the crimes of their family, tribe, or ancestors. As explained in Islamic studies about justice and sin, Islam clearly rejects inherited guilt:
   "No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another."
   Surah Al-An'am (6:164)
   Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) explicitly said: "No man is to be punished for the crimes of his father or his brother" (Sunan An-Nasa'i 4131). Classical scholars like Ibn Kathir explain that divine justice means every person is only judged for their own actions, never for the mistakes of past empires.
   Every civilization has good things to be proud of and dark chapters to learn from. The goal of studying history is to avoid past mistakes, not to attack living people today. Let’s learn from the past, stand up against current abuse, and move forward together.
