I’ve been thinking about modern relationship expectations. If a man is expected to constantly spoil, provide, reassure, entertain, and make his partner the center of his world, isn’t there a point where he’s giving so much of himself that he begins to lose himself?

I couldn't sleep alone last night because I was scared so I brought my little cousin over to sleep beside me. After I laid her down, she snuggled closer in my arms and it was such a beautiful feeling mashallah I hugged her gently and fell asleep.
