What kind of men are these days?
So strange. He lives in another country and invites me to his place. He says he has serious intentions. He wants a nikkah after I am coming. He doesn't care about my past. He's ready to accept me and my child. He was ready to buy a ticket. But we have only been talking for 3-4 days. I said that I need more time to get to know each other. And before to go to another country, I need to understand is safe where he lives, and I'll be safe with him, because many bad situations happening in this world. I want to know him better, I need to trust him, and 3-4 days isn't enough for me to trust him. And he got offended, said why I started fighting, everything was going well, said I wasn't serious, and he wasted his time on me, and blocked me... It's just childish and funny, he got angry because I want to feel safe. And nikkah isn't a toy, you need to take marriage seriously. What he thought? What do you think?

I’ve boycotted the World Cup and FIFA. Haven’t watched a single game and won’t be.

Why would I? I’m not going to support a tournament hosted by a country that I believe is complicit in the genocide of Palestinians and the devastation in Lebanon.

FIFA always felt corrupt, and the double standards are unbelievable. The outcry against Qatar over human rights, yet where’s that same outrage when it comes to the US and the actions of Trump and successive US governments?

Then you look at what happened with Iran, denied their goal. But the team officials and support staff were denied visas as well, players were forced to base themselves in Mexico because of restrictions, and even a Somali World Cup referee was refused entry. Yet we're expected to believe football and politics are somehow separate.

Watch it if you want, but I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can enjoy it knowing all of this. That’s why I’ve switched it off completely.
