What if improving your relationship with money felt less like attending a workshop - and more like spending an afternoon surrounded by nature, creativity and meaningful conversation?
For the past few months, we've been working on something a little different at AML.
Today, I'm excited to introduce ROOTED - our very first AML Experience.
ROOTED was born from a simple idea: healthy relationships with money, like healthy plants, don't grow overnight. They require patience, consistency, care and the right environment.
On Sunday 23 August, we'll be gathering in a beautiful community garden near King's Cross for an immersive afternoon where participants will:
🌱 Paint their own plant pot
🪴 Choose and pot a plant to take home
✍️ Plant a personal promise about the relationship with money they want to grow
💬 Take part in meaningful conversations in a relaxed, creative setting
🧺 Finish with the Growth Circle - a picnic and connection session on the lawn.
This isn't about budgeting spreadsheets or financial jargon.
It's about creating space to reflect, connect and take home a living reminder that meaningful financial change happens one small act of care at a time.
As a Community Interest Company, we're passionate about making conversations around money more accessible, more human and more memorable. ROOTED is the first in a series of experiences we're building to do exactly that.
