bismillah 1448 AH 🤍

our calendar begins with the hijrah of our dearest prophet ﷺ from makkah to madinah which came from a moment of immense faith & preservance. the prophet ﷺ left behind the city he loved, his home & people, and everything familiar to him for the sake of Allah سبحانه و تعالى.

sometimes we think our blessings lay in holding tight of things, when this moment reminds us that sometimes growth begins with leaving something behind. it might not necessarily be a place, it could be a habit or a mindset, perhaps even a distraction or a grudge, or a sin we keep returning to.

with everyone celebrating january and writing down their goals, let our focus instead be on direction. are we moving closer to Allah سبحانه وتعالى than last year? are our hearts softer? are we more grateful? more patient & sincere?

our time in this dunya is not standing still. another year has been written in our books, with all its joys, mistakes, answered dua’s, lessons, losses, and moments only Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows about

اللهم يا مجيب الدعاء، أصلح لنا ديننا الذي هو عصمة أمرنا، وأصلح لنا دنيانا التي فيها معاشنا، وأصلح لنا آخرتنا التي إليها معادنا، واجعل هذا العام عام خير وبركة وهداية ورحمة

اللهم انصر المستضعفين من المسلمين في كل مكان، وارحم موتانا وموتى المسلمين، واشف مرضانا ومرضى المسلمين، واجبر كسر المكلومين، وفرج هم المهمومين، واجعل لنا ولأمة محمد ﷺ من كل ضيق مخرجا، ومن كل هم فرجا، ومن كل بلاء عافية

CAN YOU WRITE?

CLAIM: The blessed Prophet Muhammad could NOT write.

We've established that Bukhari & Co. were written centuries after the blessed Prophet Muhammad's death (not a single piece of evidence has disproven this - see earlier post).

Some argue that Bukhari and Co. narrations are part of GOD’S religious guidance because the same people who transmitted them also delivered the Quran to us. However, even if Prophet Muhammad's true believing companions wrote some verses down, what evidence proves he didn't write the verses himself following revelation from GOD via the messenger Angel Gabriel?

If Prophet Muhammad did write the Quran down following revelation, what relevance is left for some to claim that Bukhari and Co. are part of GOD’S guidance?
