When a Child Becomes Your Stairway to Jannah
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reports that Rasulullah ﷺ said,
“Allah will elevate the ranks of a person in Jannah.
He will say, ‘O My Rabb, How am I achieving this?’
Allah will say, ‘Through your child seeking forgiveness on your behalf.’”

i apologize in advance if this isn’t the right group to post this on, but as most of you are already familiar with the UK home office’s sudden emergency ban back in march stopping students from sudan, afghanistan, myanmar, and cameroon from getting study visas under the false pretext of overstaying and rising asylum claims. the russell group itself released data exposing those statistics as completely misleading it was a cheap political play targeting countries without strong diplomatic backing to appease the right-wing wave. it is blatantly unfair when students who are already midway through their degrees face having their futures severed out of nowhere. when legal teams called out the discrimination, the home office basically replied that rights don’t matter unless you’re already physically on british soil, shattering whatever moral high ground on human rights they use to police the rest of the world.
a dear colleague of mine is directly impacted by this. after endless attempts, they managed to get accepted into oxford (blavatnik school of government) with a full mastercard foundation scholarship & now held hostage simply because of the passport they hold. we should refuse to let this stand. firms like duncan lewis solicitors and leigh day, that successfully dismantled the rwanda deportation policy are taking the home office to court this week.
for anyone in london tomorrow please consider standing in support with our brothers and sisters! if you cannot make it in person, please keep these students in your sincere duas, or contribute whatever you can toward the court fees here:

may Allah سبحانه وتعالى reward you all for your support and prayers, and may He grant ease to our brothers & sisters in sudan... 🤲🏻

Allaah says in the Qur'aan, “Call (people) to the path of your Rabb (Islaam) with wisdom and beautiful counsel (providing encouragement instead of causing resentment) and debate with them (the Kuffaar) in a manner that is best (without driving them further away from Islaam)”.
[Surah Nahl, verse 125]
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “The person who begs from people merely to increase his wealth is really begging for a coal of Jahannam. He may therefore beg for more or for less.”
[Muslim]
Dua for cough
When a person suffers from a cough, he should read the following verse of the Qur'aan 21 times on black salt:
وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ الْخِطَابِ
Wa shadadana mulkahu wa atabnahul hikmata wa fasal khitaab
We strengthened his kingdom and granted him wisdom and sound judgment.
And the person should thereafter suck the salt.
[Surah Saad, verse 20]

Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and rely upon Allah, or should I leave it loose and rely upon Allah?"The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Tie it and rely upon Allah."(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 2517)
