Teach my heart to love You more than this world.

Humble my soul so that it never becomes arrogant.

Keep me away from a hardened heart, harsh words, and a heart that cannot find peace with Your decree.

Plant patience in me through every trial, gratitude in every blessing, and sincerity in every good deed.

Teach me to be a gentle servant of Yours—calm, peaceful, and content, even when I don’t always receive what I ask for.

Because I believe that You give me what I truly need, not merely what I desire.

I have a genuine question. I’ve spent almost 8 years and invested millions into one project. Every time I feel like I’m close to the finish line, the goal seems to move further away. I’ve sacrificed a lot, including my personal life, yet I still don’t feel at peace. From an Islamic perspective, how do you know if Allah is testing your patience or showing you it’s time to move on?
