We do not treat each other as human beings with feelings. 💝💘
The pain we receive hurts us deeply, but the pain we cause others… 🧐
"What did I even do that much?" they say, and simply move on. 🌸🤐🫠🌼

What’s a moment that you were totally inspired and in awe of Allah?

I’ll go first…I once had a dream that came true. Not just dejavu style, literally the entire narrative of the dream was something extremely sudden that played out the day after I had it. I started studying Islamic dream interpretation a year after, because I was just taken aback by the divine messages Allah can send us.

Have to pity and laugh at some delusional desi and black Muslims who identify as English! 😂. You need to learn to differentiate between your nationality (British) and your ethnicity (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Somali etc, etc"). Why would you want to be like the ethnic English anyway?

When do you decide to just give up?

I guess it's not hard to sometimes browse the app.

But when do you say, I kind of want to stiop hoping that my life will be what I always wanted it to be - married with kids?

I know as Muslims, we should never give up hope. But I feel sometimes that it keeps me stuck and sometimes makes me sad. Maybe if I accepted that I'll be single forever, I might build my life accordingly? Maybe I would then finally seriously consider adoption?

I'm 39 so would like to know how people around my age deal with this within themselves.
