Am I the only who thinks this app needs to move past blurred profiles? I'm sorry I get that it helps sisters with privacy, but this isn't Instagram, you're putting yourself out there on a matrimonial app where people view your profile (hopefully) with the intention of marrying you. Attraction is important for most people and they need to know how you look before accepting a match.

I say this bc I swipe past far too many blurred profiles and can't help but feel I'm leaving so many potentials on the table. Yes you can ask them to unblur but it doesn't change the fact that it's an incredibly tedious and awkward process and you feel bad regardless if you have to unmatch. You're essentially playing the lottery.

Maybe a compromise can be 1 visible picture (as the main photo) and the rest kept private until you match. What do you think? @shaz

Why does wanting a wife that wears hijab a turn-off for so many girls in the west. Like Ano it’s your choice but I would prefer a woman that wears the hijab over the girls that don’t. I think everyone should aspire and push women to wear hijabs. Push not force at the end of the day it’s their choice if they wanna grow from girls to women.
Thoughts on this girls?

Let me be honest — my words match my actions more than most able people’s, and I’m disabled too. I train, I fight, and I work hard to earn halal money. For those who don’t do any combat training and are just too lazy, only focused on getting married: what will you do if someone attacks you? You’ll have a wife and children to protect one day too.

Even if you use a wheelchair, you can still learn to defend yourself — I’ve seen wheelchair users who box, and they are very capable. Even if you only have one arm, or no arms at all, it doesn’t stop you. I’ve seen people without arms who can still hold their own and defend themselves.

Especially here in the UK, Islamophobia is on the rise, so we all need to be prepared. Stop making excuses.

Stats and numbers for sisters and youngsters

The following lists average figures often cited globally, UK and Great Britain (GB) data confirms similar realistic timelines. Here is how these statements align with British statistics.

Average millionaire is 56, not 27: Data shows the average age of a UK millionaire is between 55 and 57, as older demographics hold the majority of pension and property wealth.

Average home buyer is 34-38, not 28: According to government figures, the average age of a first-time buyer in England is now 34. In higher-priced regions like London and the South East, it is 35.

Most people have never left the country, not traveled by 25: This is the one statement that doesn't align well with the UK. British culture is heavily geared toward international holidays. Government and research data suggest that up to 90-94% of UK adults have traveled abroad.

Many find their passion by 30 not in college: While this is a subjective personal milestone, UK employment and career data support that major transitions happen in one's late 20s and early 30s rather than during the standard post-university years.

Average entrepreneur succeeds at 42, not 25: Studies on British businesses corroborate this claim, showing the average age of high-growth UK founders is 36 to 43, depending on the funding stage and sector.

Most people change career 3 times not once: This rings true. Research by bodies like the Social Mobility Commission shows that professional changes and "portfolio careers" are increasingly the norm, with most Britons pivoting multiple times throughout their working lives.

The average person develops confidence by 32 not 22: Like "finding one's passion," there is no hard metric for confidence. However, studies on personal milestones often pinpoint the mid-30s as the age where people feel most professionally and financially secure in the UK.

Isolated so much that today i was available with no spending limit and absolutely no one to create memories with.

Trying to reach your goals is such a lonely journey. Make sure you prioritise the relationships you have otherwise it only gets lonelier.
