As-salamu alaykum, brothers and sisters.
I wanted to share a reflection that has been heavy on my heart lately, and I pray it serves as a reminder for myself first, and then for anyone reading this.
In this Dunya, we often find ourselves searching for direction, purpose, and companionship. As someone who embraced Islam at a young age (Alhamdulillah, when I was 16), my entire life's compass shifted toward one singular focus: seeking the pleasure of ALLAH. When you truly realize the magnitude of His mercy and the truth of His deen, everything else in this temporary world fades into the background.
One of the greatest blessings ALLAH can grant a believer is finding someone who shares that exact same hunger and zeal for His remembrance someone whose heart beats for the Deen, and whose primary goal in life is to walk the path toward the Hereafter together. Seeking a spouse isn't just about finding a companion for this life; it’s about finding someone who will remind you of ALLAH when you forget, who will worship by your side, and with whom you can strive to build a legacy that pleases Him.
When our intentions are purely for the sake of ALLAH, every effort we make, every prayer we whisper in the middle of the night, and every step we take becomes an act of worship. We put in the sincere effort, knowing that the results belong entirely to Him, and we trust His perfect timing.
May ALLAH keep our hearts firm on His deen, protect our intentions from any impurity, and grant us all righteous, loving partners who will draw us closer to Him partners with whom we can share this life and be reunited in Jannatul Firdaus, until our last breath. Ameen.

Seeing reverts doing their best to practice Islam makes me so emotional and happy, like Subhan'Allah who guided them to the right way and opened their hearts and minds to the truth and gave them the power to start a different new journey! Different language, different culture, different rules and habits...

I would like to ask that the Muslim community sign the petition below to exonerate this Muslim brother who was wrongfully convicted at 16 years old. He is a husband and father, and his public defender had evidence he didn't do it, but coerced him into signing a 30-yr plea anyways at age 16.
Jahlil Meshesha, a born Muslim, was sentenced to 30 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections in a case involving another self-defense case.
His role was limited to sitting in a car. That is literally it. He has always maintained that he was never involved, yet he received a 30-year sentence—10 years longer than the actual shooter, who also maintained that Jahlil was never involved. ‼️‼️‼️
Jahlil believes the Colorado criminal justice system failed to give his case the fair consideration it deserved. Again, his court-appointed attorney did not present any of the existing evidence that supported his claim of innocence, even when it was available to her.
Today, Jahlil is fighting for exoneration.
