Went with mum to watch The Odyssey.
Overall 6/10 film.
I feel they could have done WAY MORE on the actual adventure aspect of the film. It felt too much storytelling rather than story showing.
But as always Christopher Nolan can execute the story telling very well.
And that bow string pluck at the closing sequence is the most epic scene I have scene in a film for a WHILE. Totally grips you with emotion.
Could have been 7/10 + if they added more mythical monsters and spice. For a film running for nearly 3 hours (I think?) they certainly were capable enough to do this so weren’t very sure why they didn’t.

I ended up watching:" I Swear" completely by chance, while I had two hours to kill waiting for appointment. It may not be an Oscar-winning masterpiece, but it doesn't need to be. Brilliance of this film, lies in the message it carries. Some films impress you with their cinematography; this one stays with you because of what it has to say. Simple, honest, moving.

If you have seen the movie 'The Exorcist' and you have a Christian background and dont see the similarity with this supplication of our Prophet Muhammad, I am sorry...you are just blind...same prayer the preacher Merin reads at the end of the movie against Pazoozu. When he has the holy water with him. He uses Father instead of God, which is Allaah in Arabic. God shows his signs of truth in all his books...God knows best.
