woww that thunder just hit and it sounded so cool 😭
then i remembered this du’a from the Qur’an that the companions would recite when they heard thunder:
“Glory be to the One whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels out of fear of Him.”
it’s from Surah ar-Raʿd (13:13).
it’s a reminder that even something as powerful as thunder isn’t random or empty noise. it’s part of Allah’s creation in constant dhikr, glorifying Him in a way we don’t always perceive.
a reminder of His power, control over everything, and how everything in the heavens and earth is connected in worship of Him.
