An update on the painting
Layer by layer the painting changed. From the deep navy skies to the soft glow surrounding the Kaaba. Every detail carried its own patience.
The Maqam Ibrahim was one of the hardest parts. Building the brown foundations first and then slowly brushing gold upon gold until the light finally began to appear.
Even the floor needed movement,soft curves and reflections to echo the beauty of tawaf without a single figure being painted.
What was meant to be finished by Eid slowly became something more meaningful: a piece shaped by reflection, ideas, corrections, and countless quiet moments.
Some things are too precious to rush 🕋✨
