Since when did the 1 week gold membership get so expensive?? I recall it being like $13.99 for 1 week at one point and now it’s suddenly at $31.99 per week..
The monthly plan for $46.99 is already insanely expensive so I was thinking to try the 1 week option but I think they must have purposely put the price up on it as many were probably choosing the weekly option.
Oh well, I hear it’s not that much more useful anyways to have the gold membership.

Just wanted to share an experience and a small warning for everyone here.
Yesterday I matched with a woman on Salams. She was 27, and at first the conversation seemed completely normal. I casually asked what she does for work, and she said she’s a financial analyst and also does crypto on the side.
So I replied normally, saying crypto is a very volatile market, but since she’s good with numbers, maybe it works for her. We continued talking for a bit, and then she suggested moving to WhatsApp and gave me her number.
That’s where things started feeling weird.
Every conversation somehow kept coming back to crypto trading. If I asked about her day, plans, hobbies, anything — somehow it always became about crypto. Today she became very pushy about it. I asked if I could call her, and she said she was with family and busy analyzing the market because it was a “good trading opportunity.” Then she kept insisting that I should join her and trade together.
I politely kept saying no, that crypto isn’t really my thing. But she kept pushing again and again.
Honestly, from the very beginning I already had a red flag in my mind. Who talks this much about crypto in the first few conversations on a marriage app? Eventually it became obvious that this was most likely a scam attempt.
So I just want to say this to everyone here: please stay careful and don’t let loneliness or desperation make you ignore red flags. These scammers know exactly how to manipulate people emotionally before targeting their money.
Alhamdulillah I trusted my instincts and stayed cautious. Just sharing this so others can stay safe and vigilant too. InshaAllah may Allah protect everyone from these kinds of scams.
Alright forget about marriage let’s go for a hike who’s living by Rouge National Park?!

Question: How are you guys not depressed being unmarried above 30?!
I just turned 27 and I’m dying…how everything went so fast and in 2 years I'll be 30.
Genuine question, I’m a fully licensed G driver. I live with my parents and they don’t let me drive even though they forced me to get the license. I did fail my g2 twice but passed the G first round in rain. Am I genuinely as bad as they say? They don’t let me drive for genuinely 6 months and then let me drive them somewhere and then say no you’re bad and leave me without a car for another 6. I can’t tell if I’m genuinely bad or they are misogynistic. For the record, I’m diligent with mirror observations, park well, follow the rules of the road. No speeding. Not reckless. I had a huge phobia of driving (especially on highways) and got over it when I got my G, but my parents constant criticism makes me very scared to drive again.
I just saw this and now my mouth is watering...anyone been to Mad Birds before? How is it?
