Brothers, it's about time we all implement "are you a feminist?" amongst our early screening questions. That should get rid of a lot of nonsense down the road, chief amongst which is performative compliance followed by rebellion against male authority (her wali, yourself) within a few days, weeks or months.
Hope tradition al value stay around afraid for future children
Sad every year no changes but everyone getting older scary fact
These days, it feels like marriage has become more about finding a perfect setup than building a genuine connection. High standards and expectations are understandable, especially when parents want a better life for their daughters than what they may have experienced themselves.
But at the same time, no relationship comes perfectly built from day one. Trust, understanding, comfort, and stability all take time, patience, sacrifices, and compromise from both sides. Nobody is perfect, and marriage has always been about growing together rather than expecting everything to be flawless before it even begins.
Wanting security is fair, but trying to guarantee every single thing before giving a relationship a chance can sometimes make genuine connections harder to build.
A healthy relationship isn’t the one full of attention only in the beginning. It’s the one where peace and comfort remain even after the excitement fades.
Curious question for the men here — and please answer honestly, not just politically correctly.
When considering marriage, what naturally pulls your mind more?
Slim / fit woman or plus-size / heavier woman?
Never married woman or divorced woman?
Woman without children or a divorced mother with kids?
And if she has children:
Does the idea of “instant responsibility” scare you?
Would you want to love and raise the children as your own?
Or would you prefer a relationship where the children remain mainly the mother’s responsibility?
Also — beyond looks and labels — what do you genuinely think each woman may bring emotionally into a marriage?
For example:
Does an unmarried woman feel “simpler” or less emotionally complicated to you?
Does a divorced woman seem more mature, realistic, emotionally deep, or understanding?
No judgment either way.
People are shaped by different life experiences, responsibilities, fears, and preferences.
I’m genuinely curious how men think about these things privately vs publicly.
Why does every well-educated Pakistani somehow end up in the USA
And when you finally gather courage to send a compliment…
they look at it like it’s a rejected visa application 💀🇺🇸
Me: “Assalam O Alaikum, you seem genuine.”
Them: seen 2 weeks ago
At this point I think I need USMLE before sending compliments 🤝🤣🤣
