If your masjid only authorizes nikkah when is nullified by State marriage (except mahr, that you must pay generously upfront, but forget about polygamy. talaq, etc ), I consider it to be outside of Islam. You will literally be better off as a man (at least financially) marrying through the State only. Double contract is a huge feminist scam, don't fall for it brothers. Nikkah only or she (and the masjid) can find another victim.
