Having children is not an achievement itself.
The real achievement is to raise children upon correct belief, character and guidance, to nurture hearts that know Allah, follow His Book, and live by the Sunnah.
Allah says:
"Protect yourselves and your families from the Fire.""
[سورة التحريم: ٦]
The Prophet said:
" Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you will be questioned about his flock.
So children are a trust, not an achievement.
If they are righteous, they become a means of elevation: "When a person dies, his deeds end, except a righteous child who prays for him."
And if neglected, they become a test: "Your wealth and your children are but a trial.""
[سورة التغابن: ١٥]
If you raise them well, they can raise your rank through their righteousness. And if you neglect them, you may be questioned because of them and how you raised them.
So the real success is not in having children, but in raising those who become light for you, not regret.
