Have you figured it out yet? The method in the madness. Or life throws you into the throes of confusion time and again?

How do we deal with traditional Muslim parents who still try to exploit or expect their adult children’s labour? Especially their daughters?
I believe most traditional Muslim parents believe their duty of care is somehow contingent on the fact that they gave birth to a child. I find that deeply denigrating and repulsive.
The choice of existence was never the child’s. It was determined by the parents’ decision to have s.e.x in the first place, without the child’s consultation or consent.
And yes, I know it’s impossible to ask an unborn child for consent. That’s precisely the point. The child never had a choice in whether they existed in the first place.
So I struggle with the idea that simply bringing a child into the world creates a bottomless pit of debt that a child must repay for the rest of their lives.
Parents cannot then turn around and say, “I “sacrificed” for you, therefore you owe me.” Those sacrifices were a consequence of the decision to become parents, not a loan the child took out.

Good morning ! 😀
Working with women has taught me one thing...
What people say publicly and what happens privately are often two very different things.
Personally, I'm too much of a red-blooded male to be interested in any games or backstage drama, but I do see enough snippets of it to raise an eyebrow.
So I'm curious...
This "Sisters Group"...
Is it genuinely about sisterhood, or just another place where women quietly find ways to tear each other apart behind a smile ?
Feel free to be honest.
The suns out again so have a great day! 🙂

Can anyone help me answer a few questions I have about psychology and children?
@Suadshyk
Do not talk about discernment if you cannot recognise when someone needs compassion more than criticism and correction. There is a time to guide and a time to simply hold space for a person who is hurting. Wisdom knows the difference. And kindness knows it even faster.

Being handsome as a man may ease your partner search.
Being tall as a man may ease your partner search.
Being smart as a man may ease your partner search.
Being funny as a man may ease your partner search.
Being charismatic as a man may ease your partner search.
Being all 5 may make you an ignorant arrogant son of a woman.

A lot of behavioral scientists(I can drop some names, but you will use ChatGPT either way to verfiy this!), agree on the idea that our brain "creats" reality(construct our own perspective), and its dangerous that we may look at something as reality when in fact its just our own perspective,
Our perspective is shaped by our abilities and "NEEDS", so someone who is always scared of rejection may have that lens on everything and his vision is narrow to looking at things in terms of approved and rejected, making any type of validation "fact"
