Genuine question, no judgment —
Why are people in their 60s showing up on a marriage app? 👀
Not discriminating, genuinely curious — like what's the story? Second chance at love? Refusing to give up? Or just here to supervise the youngsters? 😭
Drop your theories below because I need answers. 🙏
Looking for a life partner is more than just finding someone to share a home with—it’s about finding a teammate for life's journey. Marriage is the beautiful art of two independent paths merging into one shared vision, built on trust, respect, and unconditional support. ❤️🌱
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:
“When you get married, Allāh opens a door of provision for you; it becomes sustenance for your wife. Marriage is not a cause of poverty.”
📚 • Fath Dhī al-Jalāl wa-l-Ikrām
May Allāh ﷻ remove the fear of poverty from the hearts of those who desire marriage, expand their rizq, bless them with righteous spouses, and grant them homes filled with love, tranquility, and barakah. May He make nikāḥ easy for every sincere brother and sister who is waiting upon Him. Ameen ❤️

People often say (let’s see where it goes) but most don’t really stick around long enough to see anything grow...
It starts with a few good conversations, things feel easy for a bit… and then it just fades.
I feel like real connection needs a bit of patience and consistency, which is honestly quite rare these days...

A Reminder About Death and the Grave ⚠️
My dear brothers and sisters,
The Prophet ﷺ said:
Remember often the destroyer of pleasures: death.
(Reported by al-Tirmidhī and authenticated by al-Albānī)
Death is not a story. It is not something that happens only to others. It is a promise from Allāh that every one of us will meet.
Allāh says:
"Every soul shall taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection." (Qur'ān 3:185)
Think for a moment.
One day, your family will carry you to your grave. They will lower you into the earth, place the soil over you, and then return to their homes.
Your wealth will not remain with you.
Your friends will not remain with you.
Your status will not remain with you.
Only your deeds will accompany you.
The grave is the first stage of the Hereafter. If it is made easy for a person, what comes after it will be easier. But if it is difficult, what comes after it will be more severe.
How many people planned for tomorrow but never reached it? How many smiled today and were buried the next day?
So before death comes unexpectedly, repent sincerely. Guard your prayers. Read the Qur'ān. Increase in dhikr. Seek forgiveness often. Repair your relationship with Allāh.
Do not wait for a better time to change, for the angel of death does not wait for anyone.
May Allāh make our graves gardens from the gardens of Paradise, forgive our sins, grant us a good ending, and gather us among the righteous.
Āmīn.🤍 "O Allāh, help us prepare for the day when we will stand before You."
