Sometimes we are faced with people who are so evil to us, hurt us, have no empathy, do not appreciate us, do not respect us, disappoint us, bring us down, betray us, even just play with our feelings.
And shamelessly, we ask ALLAH, "why, O Allah?" even though we have tried to be good.
It turns out the mistake is within ourselves, always assuming everyone is good and hoping they are just like us. And the most fatal mistake is that we don't realize we have hoped in creation.
