We spend years asking Allah to change our circumstances.

But what if the greatest answer to our du'a is that He changes us first?

Ya Allah, tonight I seek refuge in You from every severe calamity, every hardship that may befall me, every harmful decree, and from the joy of those who wish me harm.

Praise and blame, gain and loss, pleasure and sorrow come and go like the wind. To be happy, rest like a giant tree in the midst of them all.

Do you sometimes feel like it is too late to get married? I'm 37.. never been married before... I enjoy the freedom and the ease that comes with single life... Now that I'm approaching 40, I thought perhaps I should be married... I haven't enjoyed single conversation on muzz. I decided to deactivate it for a while.. like I don't want to force myself to get married to someone just for the sake of it... Maybe I have been single for so long I don't know how to be with someone....
