Are men selfish by nature or am I mistaken? I can say that I have never seen a man who doesn’t put his own interests first before anything else Why are you so obvious about it! In any case girls who's clear with themselves are not foolish at all We can notice it very easily So my advice is don’t try to play too many games🙂 because it’s just a waste of time👍🏻

OVERTHINKING IN ISLAM

Did you know that the Prophet ﷺ taught us how to deal with overwhelming thoughts and doubts before they become a source of distress?

Overthinking is not simply “thinking too much.”

It can become a cycle:
A thought → doubt → fear → more thoughts → more fear

Until the heart feels exhausted and the chest feels heavy.

Islam teaches us how to break this cycle by turning back to Allah ﷻ.

The Prophet ﷺ did not teach us to become trapped in every passing thought or to endlessly follow every doubt.

Rather, he ﷺ taught us how to respond.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Let him stop it.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)

Meaning: do not continue engaging with whispers and doubts that bring no benefit.

Do not give every thought your attention.
Do not allow every fear to control your heart.

When intrusive thoughts or doubts come, the Prophet ﷺ taught us to say:

“Āmantu billāh”
“I believe in Allah.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Why?

Because overthinking often comes from fear of the unknown, worrying about outcomes, and endless “what if” questions.

But īmān brings the heart back to certainty:

Allah ﷻ knows.
Allah ﷻ sees.
Allah ﷻ is in control.

The Prophet ﷺ also taught us to seek refuge in Allah from Shayṭān.

He ﷺ said:
“Seek refuge with Allah and stop.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Not every thought deserves your attention.

Some thoughts are whispers.
Some fears are tests.
And some worries are simply distractions from remembering the One who controls everything.

A Prophetic Response When Your Mind Starts Spiralling:

1️⃣ Stop engaging with the harmful thought.
2️⃣ Say: Āmantu billāh (I believe in Allah).
3️⃣ Say: A‘ūdhu billāhi min ash-shayṭānir-rajīm (I seek refuge in Allah from Shayṭān, the rejected).
4️⃣ Shift your focus through dhikr, wuḍū’, ṣalāh, or beneficial action.
5️⃣ Remind your heart: Allah has already written and is in complete control.

The Prophet ﷺ taught:
“The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”
(Jāmiʿ at-Tirmidhī)

Meaning: what Allah has decreed will reach you, and what He has not decreed will never reach you.

🤲🏻May Allah ﷻ grant us hearts that are calm through His remembrance, protect us from harmful whispers, and increase us in certainty and reliance upon Him.

“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”
(Qur’an 13:28)

A letter to my wife.

Even tho we haven’t met. Everything good I have came from Allah. If He entrusted me to you and entrusted you to me, then I believe I should freely share the gifts He’s placed in me. My patience, my knowledge, my leadership, my affection, my time I don’t want to keep those to myself. I want to invest them in you, just as I hope you’ll invest the gifts Allah placed in you into me. That’s how I see marriage: two trusts from Allah helping each other return to Him better than we came.
