REJECTIONS
Even Muhammad peace be upon him was rejected by a woman !!
(Trust me worth the read, I never knew this before)
THE STORY
Narrated by Abu Usaid:
We went out with the Prophet (ﷺ) to a garden called Ash-Shaut till we reached two walls between which we sat down.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Sit here," and went in (the garden).
The Jauniyya (a lady from Bani Jaun) had been brought and lodged in a house in a date-palm garden in the home of Umaima bint An- Nu`man bin Sharahil, and her wet nurse was with her.
When the Prophet (ﷺ) entered upon her, he said to her, "Give me yourself”
(As in to consummate marriage - she was his new wife)
She said, "Can a princess give herself to an ordinary man?"
The Prophet (ﷺ) raised his hand to pat her so that she might become tranquil.
She said, "I seek refuge with Allah from you."
He said, "You have sought refuge with One Who gives refuge.
Then the Prophet (ﷺ) came out to us and said, "O Abu Usaid! Give her two white linen dresses to wear and let her go back to her family."

Chemistry vs. Character
I used to think physical attraction and falling for someone's character are the two sides of the coin.
It's natural that the first thing we see in someone is their appearance and people mainly may swap right based on that.
Some of us believe love grows over time, and some of us think if there is no spark there's no point pursuing further.
As character may play for a lot of us the deal breaker where if someone's character isn't decent to our standers, it may disqualify their good looking appearance.
Even though nowadays it's difficult to tell straight away how genuine some may be and how much of their story adds up. As it takes time to know someone's true character.
May Allah SWT grant all seekers pious spouses and fulfilling marriages ameen.
