So a number of fellow members have shown interest in having conversations with me. It seems I can’t message them. I’ve thought of using compliments but looks like those are limited as well. Can’t accept the match either which is a kind of sticky situation.

I feel bad because to me, just pressing cross without saying anything feels very rude and dehumanising. We shouldn’t treat anyone like that. But I know why this mechanism is active so there’s that as well.

I see that you liked my profile, which tells me that you probably wished to have a conversation with me.

I would like to apologise that there are many features in this app that just lets me passively avoid communication. I’m sure it’s there for safety, but I still feel it’s quite rude to just quietly ignore someone’s interest in conversation with me.

I felt that some of our situation, requirements and personal preferences might not work out. In other words, we might be incompatible given where in life we are right now.
