How has your understanding of Tawakkul (trust in God's plan) evolved the longer you've been on the marriage search?

If you’re not in a position to choose for yourself, If your parents will decide based on color, sect, body shape, money, job, status etc or "log kya kahenge".

Then please don’t talk about future. Don’t give fake compliment, don't say I love you etc.
Don’t make someone build dreams with you.

Don’t give false hope just to feed your ego.
Because "sorry my family didn’t agree" after months of emotional investment.
that apology doesn’t heal the insecurity, anxiety attacks.

It doesn’t undo the lies someone is telling to his/her family for you.

If you can’t stand up for the person you chose, then don’t choose anyone at all.

Marriage isn’t a family approval show. It’s amanah. It’s responsibility.

When Abu Salama died, Umm Salama (raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhā) was certain no Muslim could ever replace him.
