How are men affording houses especially when the potential wife doesn't want to work after marriage? Homes are priced at double income households. Living with family after marriage to save for a house isn't possible for everyone. In addition, if the man is working multiple jobs, he cannot properly take care of the children. Evenings and weekends must be free from work. Children need the father's presence to raise them well. The only alternative is moving to another city up north where houses cost far less but then I'd be away from parents and family. The structure of society is so messed up

Does people really find partners here for marriage? Or its an awful experience?

In my opinion having small disagreements with a potential before marriage is actually quite healthy, you get a sneak peak of what they'll be like when both sides don't agree on a topic.

Those that get through it with calmness and decorum well done and those that end up hurling digs and insults well done too because you've just shown your true colours when things get a tad tough.
