I’ve noticed something and I’m genuinely curious to hear different perspectives.

Why do some men bring sexual topics into the conversation when the intention is marriage? I completely understand that communication and clarity matter before marriage, but there is a time and a level of respect that should come with it.

During the talking stage, I personally find it inappropriate and honestly a turn off. When you are getting to know someone for something serious, shouldn’t the focus be on values, character, and compatibility first?

As a woman, if I’m looking for a spouse, I would naturally expect a man who has patience, self control, and knows how to carry himself with respect. Sabr and boundaries say a lot about a person.

Just wondering, do others feel the same or see it differently?

Both of my cousins are US citizen. Both of them married back home from Pakistan.

One of the spouse waited 2 years when I this immigration deportation politics was not visible.

One of the spouse process has just been initiated.

Sure everyone has their preferences and way of dealing with things.

Those who wanna make it work, will make it work either long distance, moving from US to Pakistan either permanently or time being or from Pakistan to US either permanently or time-being.

Irrespective of all this long distance marriage conundrum, the socio-economic and political space is shrinking for people who are not white/native plus for the Muslims too. The future is bleak there. The best of the survivals would be those who maneuver their way best according the legal structure they have all across the world.

Just to quote an example here, I know a business lady from US to Vietnamese parents. She has that passport along with US citizen. Got Belgium nationality during and covid and now got Pakistani passport through investor visa and doing here business here.

It has more to do with knowing the options and deciding accordingly rather than being capital-centric.

After all before all these fake border created in last 2 centuries, most peole inevitably did migrations alll their lives.
