For me, my life partner needs to have two qualities: Muslim, and she must not use any of the question forms (why, how, where, when, is it?).🙂🙂

Then marriage comes up, and suddenly the list of demands is longer than the list of values.

A queen isn't defined by what she expects—she's defined by what she brings to the table.

She wants a practising guy but she’s got her cleavage out in every picture. Make it make sense.

Use each other, but only for good, for deen, and for Allah's sake. The best people are the most beneficial to others.

I believe we should be able to use one another, in the most beneficial way. A way decreed by Allah.
Not exploitation. Not manipulation. Not "what can I get from you."

But mutual benefit. Growth. Mercy. Support.

The Qur'an says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." (5:2)

We are meant to be of use to one another, not in the modern, transactional sense, but in the sense that we help each other get closer to Allah.

May Allah make us among those who benefit others, and are benefited by them, in the best of ways. Ameen.
