How does matching on this app work exactly?
Do you have to both find each other and swipe each other in the wild, or do you get notified when someone likes you and are given an option. I feel like I've seen the same profile multiple times and wondering if its happening to others too. Is it different when someone compliments you?
If it's purely from responses to the liked you page, is it just when the person likes you back from there?
Also please try not to use this question to analyze my level of success on this app

Honestly, I’m a bit tensed.
This app is, well, complicated. But I’m also tensed because I see a lot of people getting hurt when things don’t work out.
I understand that for people who are very strict about who they want in life, this is especially is devastating. I mean, I’d be really discouraged to continue if it ever happened to me.
If I were younger, I’d resort to ghosting or some kind of drama. But I don’t think they are decent things to do. I want to communicate in the best possible manner with transparency but also humility on why I think we are not compatible.
Well, saying is easy, but I’m really tensed. I don’t want to hurt or be hurt because of miscommunication. Judging by the profiles visited people here are hurt already.
Does anyone have any advice for me? How can I close a conversation here like a decent person?
