Brothers and sisters I need some advice.

Alhamdulillah my income is decent but I honestly have no idea where my money goes. By the end of the month, I barely save anything and sometimes I even end up spending more than I earn

I never really paid much attention to my finances before but now I’m planning to get married within the next year and it’s making me realize I need
to get serious about managing my money

The worst part is that when I check my bank statements I don’t even remember where some of that money was spent. Going through my statements gives me a headache

For those who were in a similar situation what helped you start saving and tracking your expenses? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Football is not just fun;

stop seeing it that way.

It's burning your time;

we have to be accountable for every moment we spend on this earth.

You know very well you won't be happy that angels have to record more than 3000 minutes spent every year, on average, just watching football.

The best time to seek knowledge is when you're young.

Most of us are highly informed about football activities,

yet we have barely memorized the last two juz' of the Qur'ān effectively.

And sadly some footballers are more serious about their Deen that us mere spectators..

By Allāh,

some of us have not spent more than 3000 minutes reciting the Qur'ān with Taddabur (contemplation) this year alone,

but we have watched more than 35 games this season, which is more than 3000 minutes...

If this means nothing to you, then perhaps there needs to be a thorough check on your Ēmān...

May Allāh rectify our affairs...

I feel so blunted. Today is my birthday, I’m blessed to be 26, but nothing gives me pleasure in this world. Would antidepressants raise my spirits and drive at least.
