Testosterone is funny.
On one hand, it helps regulate pain by raising the pain threshold and mitigates inflammation in muscles and joints.
On the other hand, it acts as an immunosuppressant which makes fighting diseases much harder. On the contrary, estrogen supports the immune system!
So ladies, when you and your man are both down with the cold, and he's taking it much harder than you, it's not because he's being a baby. The poor guy's fighting with a handicap 🤣
