If only people could understand this💁‍♂️

Perception is not reality. Reality is what was said or what happened.

Perception is the meaning each person attaches to it based on their own experiences, beliefs, and emotions.

One reason why gender debates online often escalate: people aren’t only responding to the words they’re responding to what those words mean to them. Different life experiences can lead people to interpret the same message in very different ways

Perception is not reality

We all look at the world through our own perception, but perception is your interpretation of the world around you, and it’s unique only to you.

That’s why so many people are arguing all the time, trying to convince other people of their own perception. The world would be so much better when people learn to get out of their own perception and think from someone else’s perspective. You would have less fights, better relationships, and overall a mutual understanding.

Just because someone sees the world differently doesn’t mean they’re wrong it simply means they’re seeing it through a different perspective

Perception is not reality. Reality is what exists. Perception is your interpretation of what exist

Let that sink in ✌️

Might just start liking back all the profiles without a bio and ask them if the effort they put on their bio is how much they put in a marriage.

The morning calls and I decline
Attempts persists to "rise and shine"
Within my slumbers sweet cocoon
Laziness whispers, "sleep till noon"

Good morning✨️
Reflecting on a discussion I had with friends yesterday on feeling like life is blooming, it prompted us to compare the awe and enthusiasm we had as kids to the present. They were saying how they don't think life feels as magical anymore as they don't have that same sense of wonder, that reality somewhat gets in the way as you mature or get older.

In my opinion, the feelings of magic from barakah doesn't stop in life at a certain age or stage. We're continuously blessed with gifts throughout life, alhamdulillah. That feeling of magic is constantly found through appreciation for what one has been blessed with or through contentedness. In my case, I find thrill, wonder, curiosity and knowledge in the experiences I go through and the adventures I go on. Things like simply spending quality time with family and friends too, that often makes life feel magical.

Life might feel like it's becoming more calm and steady, but it's the way one shapes their mindset. We're constantly blessed even in the simplest of forms, seeking knowledge, moving with tawakkul, evolving, healing and developing- those itself are miracles, subhanAllah. Sometimes it's even in making effort to make life feel more meaningful: actively seek the good and the adventures. There's so much beauty to be found in the present moment of where we're at.

That being said, we all have unique experiences and mindsets; that alone is wonderful, that the little details of our lives are so vastly different. Alhamdulillah

Sidenote: I'm mentioning magic in the sense of describing feelings of awe and wonder, not the literal sense. Miracles, new experiences and whatnot.
