We shouldn't be dehumanizing people due to their current conditions. We should rather be merciful in our perspectives of others, how we would want Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to be merciful to us.

With technology advancing (AI) and so much of social media everywhere, (and for our own safety), we need to be careful to not upload our photos, even if our intentions are for marriage and for the right reasons...

We're also taught to not engage in too much last yā'ni (futile conversations) or anything that would lead us to engaging in an argument or being the one causing an argument or an unnecessary debate...

As an Islāmic studies teacher, I know my boundaries very well Alhamdulillāh from what I've been observing on this platform. Others only gain access when we allow everyone to see our face or body and our beauty. And yes, the entire creation of Allāh ﷻ is beautiful. Not everyone needs to see how we look, besides those we are speaking to with maritial intentions, if we know they are someone that would be a good match. And we all know that evil eye exists.

It's sad knowing what people would want to do with another person's photos, regardless whether they are male or female; everyone has the right to having their privacy, dignity and their modesty intact. This should be protected at all times. Online and in our personal lives.

Every woman is the daughter of someone. She is the one who learns her deen correctly in order to convey the deen to others, her dear sisters and beloved students. First and foremost to her community, her loves ones and her own children.

We are all completely accountable in front of Him for everything we post, share and like. This includes whether we choose to show our appearance or not. Ultimately, for women, our beauty is for our family members and male mahrams only. Why do we need to show everyone how we look?

As a teacher, I wouldn't do what I would not want my students to do. Hence, having good company is vital for us all. It shape us and influences us positively and correctly. It guides us and others, and ensures we're guided by our seniors or the elder teachers in our communities and localities.

The hearts cannot desire what the eyes cannot see. Yes, it's wrong to abuse any servant of His and take advantage of something that belongs to someone. It is an act of zulm that must stop with accountability and repentance. We know that anything (imitating sexual content) can be edited nowadays anywhere.

We also need to understand that the branches of privacy and modesty are huge in Islām. It's everything from calling someone before you enter or visit their home, to being just as modest as you would be if you were an example to your own children as a exemplary mother or father trying to live with goodness in our temporary abode for the Hereafter.

Respect, growth or self-worth does not come from your maritial status. However, imagine the respect your future spouse would have for you, (if we were to marry) knowing you weren't showing the world your beauty. And imagine how happy He would be with us as true Believers if we were to be truly conscious and completely modest in our hearts, minds, souls, speech, sight, character, intentions, actions, and legacies we continue living each day!

Say, “With the grace of Allāh ﷻ and with His Mercy (this book has been revealed). So they should rejoice in it. It is much better than that (wealth) which they accumulate.

  • -Surah Yunus. Āyah 58.

The benefits to living solely according to His pleasure as vast. May He makes us those who solely live to please Him, those who are truly showered upon abundantly, and make us amongst those whom He is completely pleased with in both Worlds. Aameen.

نحن مجرد غرباء. آمين، آمين، آمين ✨️🤲🏻
