Why do bearded men look so different when they shave it all off?

Once, I didn't even recognize my Pakistani friend after he shaved his beard clean.

I honestly thought he was a new traveler who had just joined our trip.

The funny thing is, we'd already been traveling together for a week. 😂

I never realized how much a beard can change a man's appearance.
