Things no longer feel the same,
Irises that wonder to new realms,
New chapters written far away,
Led by unfamiliar forces,
Rocked left and right like a boat in a sea bay,
Walking and walking on uncharted grounds,
Roaming in all directions but my home's way,
Alas, the days leak through a decaying body,
As sand slips through my hands,
Eyes once brimming with hope,
Losing their light and clouded by despair.
