True love isn't finding someone who never hurts you.

It's finding someone who chooses honesty, kindness, and commitment, even when life gets hard.

That's the kind of love that lasts.

Sometimes we notice the ugly in others and say to ourselves in silence id never want to be like them and then you look within yourself only to find out your much worse than them. Sometimes Allah makes us see ugly in others only to find the ugly in ourselves and we start to think and reflect. O Allah heal our hearts. Protect our souls. Guide us along the straight path and not those of wont astray and not those who earned Your anger. Ameen. #Reality check. #got slapped in the face metaphorically.

I’ve seen so many people here who are the same age as me, born in 1997. I hope next year will be the year we finally close this chapter and find our person ❤️

And at the end, there are two strangers, who know everything about each other’s.

We are so quick to call life beautiful.
Sometimes I wonder if we say it because we have seen beauty, or because we are afraid of what remains if we don't.
I have tried to make up my mind about life more times than I can count.
Every time I begin to believe it is beautiful, it gently pulls back the curtain and reveals a sorrow I did not know existed.
Then, when I finally decide that perhaps it is only cruel, it leaves a flower growing through concrete. A prayer answered when I had stopped asking. A heart that somehow keeps beating after all it has carried.
And I am undone all over again.
Suspended between what hurts and what heals.
Too cautious to romanticize life.
Too hopeful to condemn it.
Perhaps life was never asking me to choose one side.
Perhaps it was only reminding me that I was never meant to understand all of it.
That was never my responsibility.
I can only do as much as I can.
I can only meet today with whatever strength Allah places in my hands.
The rest belongs to the Author.
Not every page is meant to explain the story.
Some pages simply teach the reader to trust the One who is writing it.
