A good marriage is not about finding a perfect person. It is about two imperfect people who fear Allah enough to keep choosing honesty, compassion, and growth.

Allah ﷻ says:

"They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them."
(Qur'an 2:187)

Clothing does more than cover the body.

It conceals flaws, preserves dignity, provides comfort, and protects from harm.

Likewise, a husband and wife are meant to be for one another.

They protect each other's honour rather than expose faults. They cover weaknesses rather than publicise them. They support one another through life's challenges and help each other remain steadfast upon faith.

Just as clothing is the closest thing to a person, spouses are meant to be among the closest companions to one another—bound by mercy, trust, loyalty, and sincere care.

Marriage in Islam is not merely living together; it is becoming a source of protection, comfort, and tranquillity for each other on the journey towards Allah.

"They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them." — a beautiful reminder of what a marriage should strive to be.

I wrote this back in 2023, December 31.

Please be kind as I just write what is in my mind 😣

Allah is the most high, he is the king of kings. Lord of everything.
Allah loves us a lot because we can talk to him five times a day or more we don't need no reservations to talk to him all we have to do is pray and make Dua to him, if you think about it when we want to meet a famous person for example a king we may never get to meet him or it take years and if you do you might be rushed in and out or the king could be a tyrant or he'll be rude depending on your social status, who and what you are but to Allah the most kind and gentle, the watchful does not care about any of that, the most merciful is always there for us whenever and wherever we need him, no reservations needed so why do we only call upon him when we are in distress or in need or in an Islamic environment? Allah is closer to us than our jugular vein so why don't we call out to him during our good times not just the bad, we don't need a middle man to talk to the divine creator, we can talk to him ourselves, think about it the creator of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him the ideal human! we can talk to the creator of him day in and day out for and about anything and everything, Allah does not tire hearing from us so call upon Allah as many times as you can a day even if you have nothing to say just sitting in his remembrance is good enough to brighten any day any soul.
Surah Al Baqarah ayah 152 - Remember Me; I will remember you. And thank Me, and never be ungrateful.

Sorry for any mistakes and grammar errors.
Please don't steal this from me.

@cinrich@annie27 @annoy89@Danish713⁩ you all wanted to read it so hear it is.

🌿 A Simple Islamic Reminder 🌿

One of the most beautiful signs of Allah’s mercy is that no matter how many times we fall short, the door of repentance remains open.

We all have struggles.
We all have shortcomings.
We all have moments we wish we could do over.

But Allah is not looking for perfection from us. He is looking for sincerity, effort, and a heart that keeps returning to Him.

A bad day is not a bad life.
A mistake is not your identity.
A sin is not the end of your story.

Keep making dua.
Keep praying.
Keep seeking forgiveness.
Keep taking one step toward Allah.

Because every step you take toward Him, He multiplies in mercy.

🤲 May Allah forgive our sins, accept our repentance, purify our hearts, and keep us steadfast upon the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Ameen.

What is one Qur’an verse or Islamic reminder that has helped you through a difficult time? 🤍📖
