Quick question for the converts/reverts here!

I was born and raised Muslim, but I’ve always been someone who questions, reflects, and wants to truly understand my religion for myself not just follow it because I was born into it. I’m still on that journey of learning and understanding Islam more deeply.

That’s why I’m always so curious about revert stories. What first made you curious about Islam? What was the moment, verse, conversation, or realization that made you feel, “This is the truth”?

If you’re comfortable sharing your story, I’d genuinely love to hear it. I feel like hearing different journeys helps me in my own journey too.

Who is fasting tomorrow?? May Allah accept your fasts and duas 🤲🏼 Ameen. If you remember pls make dua for me too !

5 Good Deeds to do on the Day of 'Arafah 🕋

Day of Arafah 2026: Tuesday 26th May

✅ 1. Fast

The Prophet (saw) said: “Fasting on the day of ‘Arafah absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming year” (Muslim)

✅ 2. Du'a

Make heartfelt du'a for everything you seek in dunya and akhirah; & make dua for the ummah.

The Prophet (saw) said: “The best of du’a is du’a on the day of ‘Arafah.” (Hasan)

✅ 3. Seek protection from the Hellfire

The Prophet (saw) said: "There is no day in which Allah saves more people from the fire than the Day of `Arafah.”(Muslim, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah)

✅ 4. Seek forgiveness

The Prophet (saw) said: "Anyone who has an atom’s weight of faith in their heart will be forgiven by Allah on this day, whether or not they actually stand at `Arafah.” (Abu Dawud)

✅ 5. Say these words of praise often

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Able to do all things.

The Prophet (saw) said:"The best du'a that I and the prophets before me, have said on Arafah is: La ilaha illAllahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu'l mulku wa lahu'l hamdu, wa huwwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadeer. (Tirmidhi)

May Allah accept from everyone - ameen 🤲🏾

The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.” — Sahih Muslim

SubhanAllah! What a blessed day this is. Let’s make the most of every moment. Here’s how:

🤲 Make abundant Du’a — Today your prayers are especially powerful. Ask Allah for everything — forgiveness, health, guidance, and goodness in both worlds.

🌙 Fast today (if not on Hajj) — It wipes out sins of the past and coming year. Don’t miss this gift!

Keep your tongue moist with Dhikr:
La ilaha illallah • Subhanallah • Alhamdulillah • Allahu Akbar • Astaghfirullah

Recite Quran — Even a few pages. Every letter is a reward multiplied.

Seek Forgiveness (Istighfar) — Allah’s mercy on this day is beyond measure. No sin is too great for His forgiveness.

Pray for your loved ones — Include your family, friends, and the entire Ummah in your du’a.

Don’t let this day pass like an ordinary day. The gates of mercy are wide open.
