The rights of women in islam.
1400 years ago Islam gave the woman the right to vote
- -right to education at the highest level
- -right to work
- -right to own and inherit property
- -Islam introduced women's consent as a condition for legitimate marriage contracts
- -Islam increased the social status of women by ensuring they are treated with respect by their husbands, sons and fathers
- -right for a divorce
- -right to choose man
- -
- -right to bridal gift (mahr)
- -right to decide over own assets (property, money)
- -the right to financial security
- -
- -The woman is entitled to full financial support during marriage and during her 'Iddah (divorce waiting period) in divorce- and if she has children, she is also entitled to child support

That mark on the forehead doesn't come with a 'righteousness certificate'
Sometimes it just means: get a softer rug.
We've all met people with a dark mark and a hard heart…
And people with no mark at all and a heart softer than cotton.
So don't let the mark fool you…
And don’t let the lack of a mark fool you either.
Just make sure they're praying 5x a day, on time.
